The PBL began in 1999 when the Parminians discovered dollar bowling on Thursday nights at Yorktown Lanes. Every week that summer our group of friends would meet at Yorktown Lanes to bowl and its popularity made it a Parma summer tradition. To compute our bowling averages, we began keeping track of our weekly scores. Throughout the years, the original weekly tabulation of averages evolved into a graphical spreadsheet including personal stats, rivals, and even weekly titles such as "Bowler of the Week", "Lush of the Week", and "In the Gutter".
